Learn and experience for life

I recommend, given the over-emphasis on training of technical skills at all levels of the education system, to complement or replace existing syllabus with “live life” lessons as suggested below. Those in power often tend to have little interest in a prosperous society of equal participants. Rather, it is about maintaining existing privileges. There is a lot at stake. If the ultimate goal of education for all citizens was empowering learning and self-fulfillment, the base for more contributions to social welfare would be created. Currently we are still working towards changing the system of systematic breeding of interchangeable gearwheels in our capitalist economies in favor of few immensely rich ‘landlords’ into a more humanized system.

  • How to build a universal spiritual foundation?
  • How to evaluate purpose in life?
  • How to overcome fear and gain confidence?
  • How to strengthen character for well-being?
  • How to think positively for greater achievements?
  • How to ask better questions?
  • How to make higher human impact through artistic expression?

Courage to question and to decide

A diverse collection of independently deciding individuals is likely to make many types of decisions and predictions better than individuals and even so called experts. Not everybody is granted the correct required information at the right time to make informed decisions. Although personally highly satisfying, it takes courage and persistence to question, to actively influence informed decision making, and to make one’s own decisions.

Create what no machine ever will

What is left when all the routines and technical problem-solving tasks are automated is art. What is qualitatively always distinguishing art from machine production, no matter how complex, random, bizarre appearing or uncopied at the time they are. Art directly connects to real personal feeling and emotions of the artist and the art viewer / user. Art is infinite in its creativity, respectful of the creator, and healing compassion for everybody involved; impossible to fake, inspirational unpredictable, and touching the heart.
