  • My two cousins are artists back in India. One of them always travels to Mumbai, the city of dreams, in hopes that some art gallery will feature his work. He’s not had any success so far. 🙁

    • Hi Anuja. That’s very helpful feedback validating our idea. I hope your cousins find a way soon to expose their work. As we are not yet ready to offer, in the meanwhile, they might also approach any public places, restaurants, cafes, libraries, etc. directly to try their luck? All the best!

      • Maybe artists could pay a small amount as contribution to keep the platform alive, after a sell ? And adding a donating button to have art-lovers visiting/viewing, donate a small or large amount (leave the choice of contribution open) to support this initiative?

      • I guess volunteers could make a huge difference, but yes…keeping up a website for instance costs money. And the costs for a domain-name. Maybe crowdfunding could be a solution? With the right marketing, I am sure lots of artists/art-lover would contribute to this great initiative. Use social media to spread the word.
Anyways, just some thoughts/ideas. Good luck!

      • Thank you, Patty,; good input. We are looking to financing the build of the web-application (it’s more than just a website for information purposes) and planning for marketing activities. My colleague is putting in more effort currently, and if you wanted to get active for Artooba you’re always welcome:-). Thanks
