Two decades of insights into many organizations, looking at current literature and trends, and most importantly my ‘Happy Colorful Growth’ spirit let me think beyond present common practices. For every organization (cooperatives may be already a step ahead) willing to take a quantum leap in the happier workforce revolution: These are my key objectives for a today’s transcending Chief Learning Officer role: 1 Commitment to the Unity of Leadership and Learning … Continue reading
For many students, e-learning programs can be as natural as the daily individual components of web content, e-books, and e-mails. The consistent digital availability of all study materials in an online program provides the ability to seamlessly integrate students’ various information sources and storage of the paperless household and office. For this and other reasons it would be difficult to bring the digital generation back to the traditional classroom without … Continue reading
“Leadership and Learning are indispensable to each other.” – John F. Kennedy I believe that an organization’s ability to grow and compete is wholly dependent on the knowledge, skills, and attitudes of its people, as performance is the outcome of learning on individual, group, and organizational level. Not providing the right learning initiatives at the right time to the right group may leave the workforce unprepared for critical challenges.
It works best for me to gather knowledge in a self-study mode. In order to turn the knowledge into practical and positive learning experiences though, the exchange with study and work colleagues is valuable for me. Therefore I appreciate the exchange of experiences and opinions and the possibility for constructive feedback. Systematic notes taking, as well as the visualization of key aspects and inter-dependencies have proven to be a good … Continue reading

My definition of hard work has to do primarily with openness, courage and authenticity, rather than just with working long hours and the goal of material profit, although it can involve massive action and material achievements too. I don’t agree with the saying about success that goes ‘One percent is inspiration, ninety-nine percent is perspiration.’ Accessing one’s spiritual foundation and deep inspiration makes hard work less a matter of disciplined suffering than a journey … Continue reading
Learn and experience for life I recommend, given the over-emphasis on training of technical skills at all levels of the education system, to complement or replace existing syllabus with “live life” lessons as suggested below. Those in power often tend to have little interest in a prosperous society of equal participants. Rather, it is about maintaining existing privileges. There is a lot at stake. If the ultimate goal of education for all … Continue reading
Whether in a private, corporate or public context, we should always be aware of the effects of our approaches to human resource development. Are we really enabling learning experiences that promote personal growth for all? It is highly irresponsible to invest only little in holistic personnel development processes – even if this is justified with low level expectation also in terms of Return on Invest. Low investment in people cannot … Continue reading
It’s what you read when you don’t have to that determines what you’ll be when you can’t help it. – O. Wilde Reading is a powerful ‘Happy Colorful Growth’ habit. Make the right books your inspiring, empowering, and results manifesting companions; for whatever you desire. Are you intuitively choosing your lecture to educate your heart, enjoy your soul and grow your real purpose and achievement in life?
Quotes on the ‘Happy Colorful Growth’ way. Happy: see it. Colorful: believe it. Growth: act on it!
On that summer day I look at the beautiful nature. Becoming aware of the mood it generates, including the emotional dimension of the heart. That is the female part. I gain so much wisdom and creativity from learning to look at the inner female higher force of creation that is infinitely vibrant, mysterious, and good. I connect to the always birth giving female energy in order to access my own completeness … Continue reading
«From amition to purpose.» Generally, if results are not achieved, it is often not because of missing tools (the wrong «how to»), but because of the wrong purpose and motivation (the wrong «why»). Human beings are most willing to open their mind in a more selfless attitude, if fears of external pressure or desire for reward are overcome by faith and intrinsic motivation.
I would have difficulties to explain on my deathbed that I didn’t try my best to (1) base my happiness truly on other values than materialism, (2) consequently foster a co-operative economy and strengthen the Third Sector (civil society), and (3) grow to a spiritually evolved and inter-dependently connected human being.
