The bright, from the dark it appears

I listen to it, the music is a hit
Excessive tones are blinding
The melody, from the silence it sounds

I feel it all, the body is tall
Overestimating pleasure is blinding
The strength, from the pain it gains

I look for a sign, the soul is mine
Focussing the outside is blinding
The freedom, from within it springs

Trusting reason is blinding
