So why then building walls
Birth denying death that calls
What the walls can never
Separate what belongs together

Where the past and future collide
Demarcate temporal zones
A dynamic now, yet static stones
Surprise when seeing through
Never it’s them; it’s always you
On the outside, that’s inside

Survival, security, how to reside
As heavy the construction
More devastating the destruction
What’s a house to me
Less is more, can’t you see
