Imagine a hole that’s white
Because you come from light
Who cares about the exit
Your soul is here to wait

To follow the course of time
The circular journey of life
The birth of and by a wife
To rise, to grow, to climb

It doesn’t matter, of course
Whether life plays forward
or regresses backward
Into youthful states at source

Yet people figure their end
As fallen ashes so dark
Instead of a sproutful spark
Conscious of time that’s bent

Stell dir ein Loch vor, das weiss ist

Es spielt natürlich keine Rolle
Ob das Leben vorwärts spielt

In die Jugendlichkeit der Quelle

Doch die Menschen rechnen mit dem Ende
Wie gefallene Asche so dunkel
Statt eines spriessenden Gefunkel
